One of my duties as the Media and Communications Officer at the Burren and Cliffs of Moher UNESCO Global Geopark is to manage their social media accounts. Our main social channel has been Facebook, followed by Instagram and Linkedin. Since I have taken on this duty, Facebook engagement has increased by 70% and reach by 88%. This was achieved through implementing a tagging strategy, emphasising shareable content, and targeting posts to specific audience segments.
