I was sceptical about trying Black & White photography. At first, I thought it was pretty dull and uninteresting but after doing a bit of research and experimenting for a while I began to love it. Taking away colour lets you focus more on depth, composition and subject matter.
I really got into it!
I started out by thinking in Black & White, by visualising the B&W result. I learned to focus on contrasting materials, focussing on how I could get the most dynamic range out of my greyscale.
After a few attempts here are the results.
